Dennison Cyclery began in a garage on a quiet neighborhood street in East Los Angeles.  The little business on Dennison Street soon outgrew the garage and moved to 6220 Whittier Blvd, Los Angeles, California.  Dennison Cyclery officially opened its doors in 1941, and is now the oldest bicycle shop in LA County operated by the same family.            

We know a lot about bikes!  We endured the fat tire bikes of the forties and the middle weight bikes of the fifties.  The trendy ten speeds and the popular Schwinn Sting Rays of the sixties were followed by the beach cruisers and BMX bikes of the seventies. The eighties began the road bike passion which propelled us to a new level of enterprise. Mountain bikes and Low rider bikes became the fascination of the nineties and into 2000’s. We have seen it all and have continued our tradition of improving and gaining knowledge of our customer’s desires and of bicycles in particular.
